The new ownership has built the finest bonefish lodge in the Bahamas right where it should be — smack dab in the middle of some of the Bahamas' most historically important bonefish and permit flats. You can literally step out the back door in the morning light and catch a bonefish before you get your morning cup of coffee.

When I last fished at Deep Water Cay, a guide by the name of Meko distinguished himself. To this day, I would say he is the best bonefishing guide I have ever seen in action. Every angler in our group, beginner or expert, caught many more fish with Meko, not because he was the best fish finder, but because he was the best coach - spotting, marking, casting, stripping, hooking. Please give him my regards.
